oh I drink my juice from the steak, maybe make a separate container for a little fat drink when you need it. or fat soup whatever you want to call it. if it is more runny I would not want to mix it with the bacon grease

What is wrong with your thyroid? Are you taking medicine for it?

I’ve used the juices in a gravy. Could you make a Keto gravy? I’ve also used it as stock for soups and stews. When the kids were very little and starting on solids I would make their baby food. With my last I would freeze cubs of broth from roasts and chickens then add them to meat or veggies based baby foods. (Magic bullet it all into a purée) It’s amazing what veggies and things they didn’t like but would eat with a bit of broth added. Your roast sounds good :).

Nice drop :) Statistically you are headed in the right direction. I looked at you weight loss chart and I can draw a line indicating that you are heading in the direction you want to go... :)

Srossca, like i said, i tested NORMAL, but according to doctors and stopthethyroidmadness.com Thyroid SYMPTOMS TRUMPS Thyroid blood tests. The body also requires iodine. Which i get almost none of. Can't hurt!

You can take that meat juice, add some water, and have a good broth for the next time you make rice or a soup. I add it to my dog's food all the time, too.

SpCalPam no rice here! That jacks up insulin, I've given to my dog but she didn't like it and it gave her the squirts. Soup is good.

just be careful with the iodine. when i started carnivore i took a iodine supplement and ended up making my thyroid problem WAY worse. changed it up and get plenty of iodine from oysters and other seafood. finding food supplementation more effective than anything else

mciavaglia how much did you take omg? If you pay for my oysters and seafood I'll gladly eat my iodine 😋 so many people over supplement. A tiny drop goes a long way.

I take kelp tablets or use a Maine Coast Seaweed or Dulce granules on food like I would salt to keep iodine in my diet.

The grease from a pork roast are the same as bacon grease, the only difference is in the solids. If I have excess fat from a roast, I do put it into the bacon grease saver, and I use it the same way. To think I used to throw it away!

I would throw it into my slow cooker, add some bones and vegis and make up a pot of bone broth. Or a base for a keto gravey. Yum :)

Took the amount that my doctor recommended. Wasnt much at all. I eat canned oysters, about 3 dollars a tin. Cheaper than a supplement thats for sure!
