Phew!! Relief!! LOL! I’m having avocado withdrawals. Prices have gone through the roof here. Idk why. Bought a bag two weeks ago, despite the price, I was craving them, but ended up only being able to eat about 1.5/6...would not ripen...seemed to by color but hard as a rock inside and couldn’t even scoop it out. So strange. Never had that happen before. Total waste of $$. 😡

The prices dropped a little here so I gave in. I keep them in the fridge until two days before I need them. I was bad at knowing when to cut into them but read about it online. Store in paper bag to ripen faster, and pop off the end of the stem to check for color, if it’s too firm let it ripen more

I know how and when to cut avocados. Stems came off etc., everything seemed perfect, except the insides. Very odd. Something was off with them because I never did anything different than I’ve done for years, but they weren’t edible.
