What do you do to recover from a binge day? I stress ate yesterday...I knew I was doing it, but decided to give myself permission. However, I majorly over did it - 4500 calories!!! Do I just stick to my normal calories today or do I restrict to a 1000?

I would just phase it down over the week, we all have little blips. I've been having one for the last 6 months lol

I find the eating part easy it's the getting down to exercise that lets me down. Walking is the only thing I do at the moment. My exercise bike has been kicked back into the bedroom, was fed up looking at it and although I'm overweight I have a skinny bum lol and 20 minutes on the bike was painful enough, no thanks!

Gilly you are right about food. That’s the easiest part I also find. Exercising you really need lot of focus and motivation. That’s why I try to exercise 6/7days... I know if I have a break I will struggle to come back with the same intensity. That’s what happened this week to me

I am limited as to what I can do. I have degenerative disc disorder. Some days even just washing dishes at the sink does me in. Oh well at 62 I mustn't grumble. I used to be very active, had my own horse and even mucking out every day is good exercise. My Dad died last year aged 95 and at 5ft 11, he weighed 11st all of his life, worked hard, used to grow all of his own veg. Favourite foods, ham egg and chips and mince and tatties! Guess metabolism has a good part to play in all of this. Homage to my dearly missed Dad x
