What is ironic about hitting this low is that I was trying to get here during 70.3 training last year, but was only able to get down to 121 lb., which was was still a good weight for a half iron man, but the least amount of pressure on my knees was the intent.
I have one last slice of the third cake I've had this season to keep calories up. I may have to invest in a fourth cake (maybe German chocolate?).
My cal intake is about 2300 on average/day. I haven't increased it because frankly after the 70.3 - I want to have a more enjoyable relationship with food. I had to eat so much during a 6-7 month period and it may sound wonderful to some to be able to eat around 2600 cals/day but trust me when I say it gets old, especially the way you have to do it for endurance training.
There's no enjoyment in it. Food is fuel - you try to pound it down as quickly as possible and hope the body can utilize it quick enough for all the miles in water, on bike, and on foot. On the other hand, this weight doesn't feel bad, my size 4's still fit nice and I have a belt now and sport anemia is gone so still a very healthy strong gal! :-)
