Please don't think I'm being obnoxious. I ordered new clothes and the last of them finally arrived. I tried them on and they fit me beautiful. I look so nice in them. Mind you, I work in baggy, ratty old clothes. Thing is, I think I have a carnival fun house mirror. I can't believe what I look like in nice clothes. The mirror makes me look so pretty. It's got to be a fun house mirror :) I'm 56 and I'm acting like a young girl trying on clothes. Only thing, I DO NOT like to go shopping. Seriously, I want to say that every single member on here is beautiful no matter what they think of themselves. We are all bettering ourselves every single day. I am honored to be on this journey to health and wellness with all of you :)

Way to go. I'm not buying any new clothes until I'm down a size. I hit my goal weight and I'm going to buy a nice Jean jacket or leather coat. Time to wear stuff the size I wore when I was 30.

I don't have a camera or cell phone. I will def. have someone take my pic when I arrive at my goal July 1st. I also was given a pic of me when I was at 238. The before pic on here, I weighed around 200. I will be wearing one of my new dresses for the after pic

Before Justin passed away last summer, he told his girlfriend that he wanted me to start a new life, be happy, get my hair done, and wear beautiful clothes. This is my way of honoring him. I miss him

I am so grateful for the members on here. It is because of all of you, that I was able to be where I am on my journey at this time. I didn't get the support from people on my end, only Justin's girlfriend. You have no idea how much I appreciate all of the support on here. Thanks :)

The reason why I only wore jeans and tee shirts for all these years was because I worked at dirty jobs. I also raised 5 boys by myself so there was no need for fancy clothes. Only place I got to go was to work and the grocery store. I still have 2 boys at home. The kids needs always came 1st. This time, I used some of my tax refund money on myself. As it should be!

Enjoy Sugar! I hate shopping as well (even when I was young and skinny), so I understand you. I went to the store on my lunch hour for a little pick me up and bought a spring dress and a more fitting night gown. Still a little jiggle in the middle but nothing some spanx won't cure! Celebrating what I've lost so far. Keep it up and never lose the spirit of a young gal!
