I keep failing and making all sorts of excuses for myself. I'm backsliding and gaining all the weight back that I worked so hard to lose.
I've sat down and thought it out. I'm thinking maybe I'm doing this all wrong for my body. I have PCOS, endometriosis, genetic lactose intolerance, and histamine intolerance. It makes it really hard to find the right diet for myself.
I can't eat tomatoes, mustard, hot peppers, avocados, citrus fruits, chocolate, seafood, beans, lentils, lunch meat, sausages, aged cheeses, picked/fermented foods like pickles or sauerkraut, and most nuts because of the histamine intolerance. With PCOS, I'm supposed to avoid carbs, starchy foods, and sugar. With lactose intolerance I should avoid most dairy (unless there is a lactose free version).
Yay! What can I eat?
I've thought about trying to do a version of keto with modifications to fit my histamine/lactose intolerance, but eggs seem to be a big thing with keto and I'm not crazy about eggs. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Any advice, please?
