OMG! You're more patient than me. Pardon the pun. But I would have been outta there after the second, if not the first no-show.

Karaken this was one of the well known keto docks. He was just an ego asshole.

I think I remember you mentioning him before. Well that is just too bad.

Dr.'s aren't allowed to be Doctor's any more, just glorified drug pushers. If you do see a new Dr., I'd lay money that they never physically touch you, except with an instrument. Then everything is going to be about Prescription's they can prescribe or Dr.'s they'll need to refer you to. It's amazing. Hell my Primary Care's assistant returned my query yesterday about my annual Mammogram, by stating that she understood from my call that my PHYSICAL THERAPIST was recommending it. I'm like What? My Oncologist asked if I needed to order it for me this year, and I was verifying that I already had an order from my PCP. Like I said before AMAZING!

I too, had to wait for Dr.s. it's no fun, I have also walked out on a few never to return. But I have also worked in hospitals (third shift) when Dr.s may come in at 6:00 a.m. and has been up all night because the nurses kept him up all night as a patient was not doing at all well. Sometimes they didn't leave the floor unit 9 or 10:00. And they still had rounds to do on other floors. Like you said, we are their patients too. You do what you have to do for you. But if he has been a good Dr. in other aspects of your care think about it closely, finding a good Dr. isn't that easy. Just saying.

Look for a D.O. instead of an MD, they are better docs in my experience.

Sorry to hear that :(

Moonwalk635 you have no clue. I had 5 evisit (internet) appointments he didn't show up for. I sat at my computer for hours, until 7-8pm. No notice, no notification. I call his office and the receptionists day they don't address evisit issues. No one does. I don't care about the wait. I care about NO ONE EVEN SHOWING! I finally got hold of him and I didn't accuse him. I told him I am having trouble with evisit (so I didn't directly blame HIM) I know for a fact he wasn't with patients a few times! I saw his posts on Facebook. He is an

Uhh and JUST SAYING, he's not a good doc.

Jennies that's amazing. Ya and I don't take regular drugs. Most docs push crap hormone patches and I use the compounded cream. It's hard to find open minded doctors. They all want you on big Parma. Been there done that. We just need to stay I top of our own health.

JMF555 Yes I will, thanks.

Adefwebserver well, I gotta look at the positive. This is forcing me to find a better one that isn't a 5 hour drive. He didn't help me anyways. At least I started in thyroid. Not sure if it's helping. But now I'm even more determined.

Nurse here... I try to remind my patients that your Doc works for YOU. If you aren't happy with them, you can always switch. If you are otherwise healthy (meaning you don't have complicated illness or surgical issues) have you considered seeing a Nurse Practitioner or joining a practice that has them? They can sometimes have a better bedside manner and may have more time to spend with you during your visit. Something to consider.

Meaghan did you read my comments? Care less about a doctor's bedside manner and I know they're busy. But he literally didn't show up for five appointments. I don't care who you are or how busy you are don't make an appointment if you can't show up. Five times!

All you nurses out there commenting that it's okay for a doctor not to show up for five appointments . You're out of your mind. I will wait five hours for a good doctor, I don't care I will reschedule because of an emergency, I don't care , but not to show up for five appointments and no excuse , and they're on Facebook posting cute post with their wife while ignoring up an appointment

Some Drs forget they work for you. I'm blessed with some great Drs. Good luck in your search 🙋
