I am making amazing choices and sticking at 1200 calories a day. My fat target has been perfect , my protein a little high and carbohydrates a little lower. I normally don’t do any walking now up to a minimum of 30 minutes of brisk walking and at least 6500 steps. My weight loss is too slow for me and everyone else is loosing at a much faster rate . Loss is loss and I have to live with it

Just perhaps I am not eating enough .

Looking forward to bbq today , chicken and veggies and salad. .

I will do this however long it takes .

In response to me staring myself on 1200 calories , I’m not starving I am having three well balanced meals a day .I am not starving I am just having loads of low calorie foods.

Hi Poolekp, I Have a tonne of weight to lose and like you are eating a little under 1200 calories a day. I also have spoken to my gp about this as like many suggested in your post we is starving. CODSWALLOP.... 1200 - 1500 calories a day a good losing target. especially as we are pretty much just walking for exercise at mo..... Up your proteins lower carbs. Go for 40 carb 30 fat 30 protein if u can. Vegetables above ground better than root veg if u can eat more of them but eat any veg u can. Go easy on the spud.... I am far from starving and struggle some days to even eat the 1200.. Good luck on your journey

Don't get disheartened at slow results. 1200 cals is what I tend to eat with no exercise atm and it keeps me pretty steady. Just make sure you increase healthy cals as you increase your exercise to make sure you feed yourself properly. And don't forget everyone if different. What is good for me isn't for the next person.

I got stuck and lost nothing 2 weeks ago after a consistent 2lb a weekly weight loss over the previous 8 weeks on 1000 Calories a day. very disheartening, but just a blip, kept with it and back to 2lb a week off. I think it's worth a few calories less to see it come off faster as I need to lose 15kg faster to try to reverse Type 2 diabetes.
