oh mama!! how amazing is that? I remember not seeing my kids for 6 months that was brutal. God is so good. thanks for sharing that. it made my day even better.  

Andrew, my son gets mad easily, he hates himself and everyone around him.😢 He doesn’t drink, or do drugs, he loves to read, play his guitar and unfortunately video games.🙃 He just has an awful view of himself, life, and us.☹️ I stay clear, I know he knows how he acts is wrong, so I don’t ever light a fire under his loathing of himself, us, and the world. I know he is smart, ranks very high on the IQ scale, he just has some chemical hormonal rage at himself. He is drop dead handsome, perfect physique, and everything in life a person could want, yet he is always depressed. I NEVER EVER TALK NEGATIVELY TO HIM! NEVER! I let him rant, I walk off, there’s no dealing with insane thinking. I never EVER EVER want my actions in the moment to be remembered. No yelling back, no negativity at all, for he is just punished enough with his attitude towards himself even though he can be disrespectful, he knows it is wrong. He feels horrible inside. I wish I could fix it so he can enjoy his life.😪 Every once in a while he comes around and loves life, today is one of those days. There’s no bad memories of me yelling back, or telling him to get out, so he only remembers his actions not mine. He told me today how much I mean to him and anything I need he’ll help me with. He is very apologetic.💕 It takes patience to loss weight and A LOT of patience raising kids.🙂 Sorry if I’m going on and on, but if anybody has a kid that is that upset, realize that inside himself he’s being tortured, you need to be patient and understanding and loving. Walk away if you have to. (Note…that on his own in the past he has gone to a therapist, he knows he has issues.) Blessings to those going through the same problems with their child.💕

That is so great Shrewdness. Being the parent of a troubled kid is a really hard job full of uncertainty and confusion... Being that kid has to be hell. How they struggle and hurt themselves and have so much pain they cause their own hearts. You got a balm to your soul with that message. May he too find comfort in knowing he did a loving and good thing. My prayers are with you, as I know yours are with me. Have a blessed day! ❤️

Dang Melissa, you have me crying!!🥲 I know you go through a lot of hard times and are so much more experienced than I. You just have to know your kid is being tortured that’s all and not torture him more because you’re mad for how he’s acting - it seems like you understand. Shrew, it's a tough road to navigate, but you are certainly handling it with love and wisdom. The best thing I did when dealing with an angry adult children was to stand firm in not engaging with their negative behavior. That child is now the one that expresses how much she loves and appreciates me the most out of our 4 children. We always want our children to want more for themselves. ❤ 

Thanks Cstrutz and EvaSieteTres! I know we could’ve had huge fights, but then I’d be the one in the wrong, even though he’s the one acting up. 🌸

Read your response to Andrew and I have to say what a remarkable person you are! It is extremely hard not to respond to someone constantly disrespecting, raging and taking things out on you, especially when it is someone you love! Been there and wish I had always reacted in the same manner as you! Many prayers that he will find peace!  

I didn't see your response until now mama. Just know I was like him. Not to that degree based on what I read but I hated me. Thats the reason I lashed out at everyone. Wrecked my first marriage. Addicted to porn to ease the pain of hating myself. Depressed and suicidal. I was rotten. But my first wife mom always just prayed for me. She passed and cannot see the amazing work God has done in me. That makes me very sad. Just know nothing is too hard for god. And yes you can change things. Intercession is simply praying and standing for people that don't know how or don't have the strength to do it themselves. I'll pm you a link to some teachings that have helped me in standing for my wife.  

I'm truly sorry for your stress. And for all those I hurt in my past.
