I'm losing rapidly this week, following strict keto with high protein -shooting for over 100 gms. Plus some intermittent fasting. I took a break from keto, then that was followed by better losses. I think I'll plan some cycling into the future. I have a week long family gathering at the end of July. My plan is to stay strictly on keto til then, but plan that week as a break, because there will be lots of good food and drink.

You are doing great!! During your family gathering just practice portion control! I hate to be at a gathering and make people feel like they have to prepare "special" food just for me.

Too true! I have Celiac which in my mind means that I don't eat bread, pasta and pastries. That's easy enough to avoid at almost any meal without making a fuss, but some relatives feel that they have to makes special brownies or something. Oh, no no no! I'm happy to just avoid the sugar and carbs, and select salads, meats and veggies. If I feel I need a dessert a little berries and cream is very satisfying.
