In case anyone is following my fast: I'm at day 5.5. I'm sticking to liquids through day 7, but transitioning into a few calories from fats (bulletproof coffee and beef marrow bone broth). I'm still a little sick from my cold, but the fever is gone; I'm just a little low energy and congested. I've had a little diarrhea (sorry if that's TMI). Which must be just clearing out toxins because there certainly isn't any food in the GI tract. I've had a bit of the faster's high. Walking outside yesterday, the world looked especially beautiful -- glistening leaves, soft pine needles, pure blue sky.
It was definitely a love fest with nature (how wonderful!) I'm definitely making time for a good walk today. I'm down about 9 lbs in the fast, but none today. I hope to land it at 10 tomorrow when I end it. Then I'm off to Vermont for a family reunion.
