Thanks! I'm actually eating more than I usually eat but it's been a cleaner diet than what I was eating during the holidays! Trying to get my protein up to 125 grams a day but so far getting it around 110 grams..

You are doing great! How on earth can you get up overv100 grams of protein and keep calories so low? I'm managing close to 60 grams of protein with similar calories. My doctor prefers I don't have protein shakes or bars on the anti inflammatory diet. Anyway, I'm so happy for you!

Fritzy, Instead of reaching for a sugary or high carb snack, I've been grabbing a protein heavy snack instead. It helps keep calories down but I am thinking of increasing daily calorie intake. I try not to have to many protein shakes, but I do occasionally have a Premier Protein shake for breakfast. It really boosts protein intake. I still can't stomach the powder protein mixes. They upset my stomach really bad . I make my own protein bars and I do add whey protein to them but it's not a lot so it's ok. Mostly I eat a lot of chicken. Lol. I also eat boiled eggs but that has been limited as they are soo expensive now!!

I eat a lot of chicken too! I only eat eggs once or twice a week. They were $7.99 a dozen last time I checked.
