I'm very happy today! My weight loss continues and I have a big event happening this weekend.

I've shared with you all that my beloved dog passed away 1 1/2 months ago from cancer. Well, I'm adopting a new sweetheart and we are taking her home on Saturday. We've missed having a dog terribly and our family didn't feel whole anymore, so we decided we would go ahead.

She's a rescue mixed breed about 2-3 years old. I went with the complete opposite of my old boy, but I think it's going to be great.

She only weighs about 7 kilograms and my old dog was about 40 kilograms. I loved him so much, but he was a little too powerful for me and it made it hard to walk him.

So, I decided a change would be nice. The whole family is beyond excited! Now to pick out a new name for our little girl!! 😁
