So, after eating carefully, choosing carefully, not being hungry, exercising and sticking with under 1000 (except a few breakouts when I've just got so disappointed and thought "stuff it, I'm having some chocolate", it seems I cannot lose weight unless I go VLC. I'm going to do a week of Optifast and see if that kicks it along and then go back to keeping it at that level. Just 3kg. Who would think it is so hard. I think it is menopause and the changes happening in my body. Hate to think what I would weight if I just ate with abandon.

Thanks for the support. I seemed able to stay at my weight for months until suddenly I put on 2kg in a couple of weeks, and just cannot shift it. I didn't do anything different either that would explain that 2kg that piled on in a short time. I'm determined not to continue to have it creep back up.
