Ate a lot...a real lot. This bird flew over and sat on my van window. I'm pretty sure he was trying to tell me to drop the pizza. I did not heed his warning. He stayed for awhile like an omen. Actually his face is too cute to be an omen. Better day today!

Actually Chris, if you look closely, you can see that his other foot is just raised, so I think we're okay there. Princess, if you lived in Houston, I'd say he was begging to be let inside, out of the blistering heat. Or, maybe he thinks vehicles are people cages, like in a zoo, and he likes to people watch.

That's a house sparrow! They're vicious little creatures but they can be incredibly sweet. He probably did want to share your pizza.

I love birds! I would join a bird watching group but I'm not sure how that would work. I get so many birds on my deck and in the feeders but they fly away if I go outside, or even if they see me through the window. I could never get a picture like yours. Do you know what the bird is? So fluffy. Doesn't look like any of the birds I get at my house. Maybe some kind of sparrow?
