My group of friends and I are still actively working our 500 miles challenge to be completed by the end of the year. Everyone is doing great. Most will not hit the 500 miles but we are having a terrific time finding new and different places to walk and hike, and so far no dropouts. I am the consistent member because it is just a normal activity and routine for me. We started March18th and as of yesterday I hit the 100 mile mark. When I walk with others I walk at their pace so it averages about 3 miles a day. That’s fine for me, I don’t count on walking for weight control. It’s all about the FUN, the fresh air and seeing some of my friends come out of their Covid isolation shells. We are all vaccinated so it’s time to be outside playing with our friends
