Arms arent where Id like but I keep working at it. I have posted about my random allergy to dairy. I bought bone broth protien powder. I can tolerate it but does anyone else uses it? I put it in hot water like a broth but its not the tastiest. Any ideas?

I use a bone broth beverage, I find it needs salt added. I love spices, so sometimes I add cayenne pepper 🌶, cumin, etc.

Lambiepie, thanks, I'll try with spices. A friend of mine said she uses hers in rice as the liquid ( powder mixed with water) and she said it's very tasty. Not sure...

Tr3vi28, ya about 2 or 3 months ago I started having alot of stomach issues. I could no longer tolerate any dairy or whey products. I was trying to up my protein to help build muscle so I was using whey powder everyday. My Dr thinks I overloaded and my body rebelled. I stayed off all dairy for past 2 months, introducing small amounts each week. Mostly yogurt, parm, and feta. I seem to be able to tolerate those once a week or so but no artificial protien powders, shakes, or bars..😥 I tried vegan pea based)but it didn't work either..just trying to find something that works..💜

maybe you could add a little bit of celery and carrot and that would bring the flavor up

Why are you using powders? Just get fresh meat and boil it, and use it for up to a week. If fresh alternatives exist, go for them

ghost vegan is a great protein powder with no dairy! doesn't have meat so not sure how many grams youre looking for though

Laughing curve, thank you and ditto! Ridemariel, I will try that. I was thinking of adding some frozen mixed vegetables as well . Emmekay, I'm not particularly fond of meat. My nutritionist wants me to get at least 100 to 120 grams of protein a day. I can barely get 75 some days. I do prep chicken at beginning of week to use at lunch and I try to have meat every night for dinner. I won't use ipowder every day but some days I just can't have another bite of meat...

Tina and tito..Thank u! I may give the vegan powder another try after bone broth. I'll keep the ghost powder in mind. I'm trying to get around 20 grams of protein out of the powders. That's what bone broth has. It also has collegan and glucosamine. That is helpful to my autoimmune issues. Trial and error I guess..💜💜
