We had some pretty bad storms on way home. Love cooking outdoors, especially when my eagle friend came to visit! This was in Williams Az.

Superman, yes it's a teepee. We are in an RV but it was across from our site. Mermee, I was actually cooking breakfast..eggs and sausage. It was yummy!💜. Navywifeski, it was very cool but scary.! Long story short, we were stuck on highway 89 in Flagstaff,Az for over an hour. No movement at all due to a flood on highway. There was water and mud washing across road. There were cars stuck and some floating by. The houses were full of mud running through them! There was a fire ( Pipeline fire) a awhile before and so many trees burned that there was nothing to hold the downpour of mud. Luckily we made it out ok. If we had been earlier we would have been caught in the middle of it. I took the top photo that night.

Oh my gosh! I can’t imagine! Very scary for sure. My anxiety couldn’t handle being stuck like that! Didn’t use to be like that but seems like after menopause I developed travel anxiety. Actually had a panic attack an hour away in road construction and it started from there. Thank goodness my husband was driving but had to go into a drug store and get a water and benadryl to get home! (Pharmacist recommended and it got me home.) This was 5 years ago.
