Turns out Sydney didn't have a UTI. She may have stones or crystals. We go back to Vet on Tues for blood work and X-rays. He needs to see what liver and her adrenal glands look like to make Cushing's diagnosis. It's what he suspects though. We will do what we need to do. She is our baby..😭🩷🙏

Diana, it’s usually treatable with meds that are well tolerated. I’ve known a number of people with senior dogs that did quite well for multiple years. Love to you all.

If indeed it is Cushing's it can be managed with medication. I read the average life span after diagnosis is about 2 years. We will see what Vet sees on x-rays. We just love her so much! 🩷🩷🩷

Yes, it can be managed for a while. My mom's dog got cushings and held out a month or so under 3 years. She was a yellow lab/ gray hound mix. Hoping for the best for your cutie Sydney! Prayers for her! P.S. Your soup looks good.
