My great uncle used to drag race, and my second cousin owns a drag race pump company.
It’s kind of a cute story, my uncle was selling his race car, a woman bought it, they ended up dating, well then getting married and she let him race her car 😍

That is neat. That takes energy and effort to do this . My pop was in California for marine training and a couple kids started to drag race . They were Snake and Prudomme. I think there was an older guy also , Don Garlits. Where did you race ? We went wentzville mo track owned by Busch's - beer people - I remember short chassis dragsters , lil red wagon, - If we find pictures, we will share.

My uncle was on the episode filmed in Vegas. He raced a 54 corvette, for 46 years until he passed away.
