About this pic: This picture was taken on 11/21/17 when I went to dinner with my Texan friends & their kids. I had weighed myself the day before and was around 216lbs here.

Bio:
I've been overweight for most of the life. I started to get "big" in 3rd grade and never looked back. I weighed in at 210lbs when I tried out for the high school football team freshman year. I weighed 277 when I graduated. I felt like shit and blamed my lack of relationships on my weight, but I was probably too miserable and immature to maintain one.
I worked out a lot, changed my diet over the next 3 years, and was able to lose almost 70lbs. My lowest weight in my adult life is/was 207lbs in 2001.
Years went by and over the course of that time I gained all of it and more back. My heaviest was 318lbs in June 2011.
Throughout 2014-2015 I was able to get down to 231 lbs, but wasn't able to get into the 220's. Over a bit of time I stopped tracking my food consumption because I was completely happy with how I looked and felt.
In 2016 I had another brain surgery to remove a growing tumor, endured radiation, and a year of chemo maintenance. I felt like a blob due to not moving around too much. My hip joints ached, I was weaker, I was fatter, and I felt terrible. I ate what I wanted in somewhat moderation, but cookies, chips, candy, and other goodies are to blame. I weighed around 250-255lbs in January 2017 and about 245lbs in June 2017.
As you can tell my weight has bothered me for my entire adult life and I'm just tired of feeling like an overweight outcast. I woke up in early October 2017 with a sick feeling of "enough is enough"! I had to start doing something different again. Because I've been able to do it before I felt it would be a lot easier this time and it is.

As of now the food scale, loss of junk food appetite, and my determination is what's helping me stay on track.
