Brisket, pulled pork, Mac n cheese, collard greens and corn bread.

Had half of the meat and half the collard greens. So so good!

Yeah i didn’t touch/eat/sample the Mac n cheese or the corn bread. The meat was delicious as was the collard greens.

It used to be hard for me to resist. When I was doing keto dieting I would dream about all the foods I would eat when I was off of it, everyday. When I went off I would eat everything I craved... I realized I had hyped it up in my head of how good it tastes mostly because it was “forbidden”. It was never as good as I remembered and then I had to deal with the side effects, stomach hurting, bloating, sleepiness, gassiness, diarrhea etc. I reframed it in my mind so that it’s not that I can’t have it but I choose not to so I’m not always fighting cravings. If someone orders something I really want I would ask for a bite, but it’s never as awesome as I thought it would be. Most of my fav foods are keto anyway so I’m lucky in that way.
