YUKK. Weight is UP again this morning. Maybe it was the copious amounts of chicken casserole I had yesterday (pretty salty). Oh well. Ended up keeping the kids again yesterday since it was an exceptionally sunny day. That's FOUR times in a week. My little guy (4) could easily have drowned if I wasn't paying such close attention to him. I got him a full-face snorkel mask which allows him to put his whole face in the water and to swim without his floatie arms. It keeps the water out, and he can breathe through his mouth or nose, so it's not that suffocating feeling like you get with the goggles that cover your nose. Anyway, after I had put it on him securely, he must have lifted it up when he was submerged and it filled completely with water! Thankfully (THANK YOU, LORD!) I saw him as soon as it happened and pulled him to safety. WHEW! Every day, I pray that God will keep the kids safe in the pool. Hopefully, he won't be afraid to wear the mask again in the future. I was so proud of him because he didn't even get upset or cry. When my SON was about that age, he didn't like to get water in his eyes at all. After he fell off a dock into a river he wasn't afraid of water anymore. Maybe little Jack will be even more comfortable in it now.

My kids did that frequently. They are not afraid of the water at all. They're all scuba divers and underwater fisherman. But it was scary to me. ❤👍
