Things are going ok here. Still staying between 2,000-2,300 calories a day, which seems to maintain my weight. Eventually, I'd like to lower that, and actually see some weight LOSS. For now, though, I'm content.

On the day before plasma donations, I drink a gallon of water and no Diet Coke - on the day OF the donation, I drink 1/2 gallon of water and don't have any DC until AFTER it's over. My goal is to give two donations a week, but I've been bruising so badly that I haven't been able to give the second weekly donation. If you have one unbruised arm, then other arm can have a bruise but it has to be less than 2" in diameter. Last week, my bruise was about 4" and this week it's about 3". When I donated on Wednesday, my blood clotted really badly, and they weren't able to give me back all of my blood. If this happens again within 56 days, then I can't donate at all for the next 56 days. That would be a real bummer!

Hope all is going well for my FatSecret friends. I have almost 200 unread notifications, which I don't think I'm going to try to catch up on. Hope I haven't missed anything monumental!

I love that you donate Plasma! Thank you for giving. Did you know that certain blood types clot faster than others? Mine is like that, when i donate blood the bag sometimes is wasted because coagulation starts and if you dont fill it, then it all is scrapped. Wish you well Debbie! Glad you are maintaining and I am certain you will lower than caloric intake because you are strong and successful. Keep up ALL that good work! Kudos!
