Journal de Debbie Cousins, 10 juil. 22

Another good loss this morning. Did everything I set out to do yesterday. God has graciously enabled me to do this without it being particularly difficult this go round. I'm content with the 3 cans of DC a day. The season affords delicious watermelon and cherries for my fruits. My knees feel at least 75% better than they WERE before I started dieting. Life is good.

DARN! The S-key on my laptop just broke in half. It is still in place, and I can still type, but it's a little temperamental now, and I don't know how long it will last. I wonder if you can buy JUST a replacement laptop key? Do you think they are standard size across models? Just that last sentence had FIVE s's in it. I can't LIVE without my s!

TADA! I'm a genius! After checking on Amazon and finding out that they only have replacements for the R Q and W keys, I decided to find a key that I never use (~`) and I switched the broken S with that one. It doesn't matter that it doesn't SAY what it really is, because I don't look at my fingers when I type anyway. Disaster averted! WHEW!

I just finished up my butter beans (baby lima beans) yesterday, and I was wondering what I will have instead. I've been eating them for 1-2 meals a day. They're very filling and good for the digestion. Light bulb moment: I just remembered that I have homemade chicken vegetable soup in the freezer. That will last me for a few days until I can make some more butter beans. Problem solved.

OK, on to my Bible reading. After getting ahead by a couple of months at the beginning of the year, I had slacked off and gotten ALMOST to the current date. Been doing double reading again, and now am three weeks ahead, PTL. It's strange how, no matter what day I am SUPPOSED to be on, the Lord will use whatever day I AM on to be a blessing to me. God has perfect timing!
